Real estate marketing is all about starting, building and maintaining relationships. That requires quite a bit of contact. Gary Keller (in "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent") says that you need 33 touches per year to stay close to your "Met" database.
NAR Surveys say that the most important things to communicate to buyers and sellers is that you are knowledgeable, skillful and a high level performer in all things real estate.
That's why a lot of agents are starting to realize that blogging could become a very important marketing tool. Just one post a week would be 52 touches per year. If your posts demonstrate real estate knowledge, skill and performance, then they could become very valuable tools in your marketing communications library.
ActiveRain is a great place for Agents to make blog posts and reach a wide market. The trouble is that those posts have a short shelf life. Typically, when you make a post, only a handful of people see them. You may get a few comments, and then clicks drop off. Too often it seems like it's hardly worth the effort.
If you want to get a whole lot more marketing mileage from your posts, then you'll definitely want to sit in on this Webinar.
I'm going to show attendees the click-by-click steps for setting up a drip campaign in Top Producer 7i that will automatically email links to your blog posts to targeted segments of your database.
Once you have this setup; doing 33 touches per year; piece of cake! And you'll be doing it with personalized marketing content that can really do you some good.
